A week after, I woke up feeling like everything is moving and spinning around me. It wasn’t a mild headache anymore just like what I had the week before. It was severe. I couldn’t even get myself up from the bed.
That time, I didn’t even think that I’m possibly pregnant because we just had the PT and it’s negative. But here came my husband again who insisted that I should try redoing PT and see what will come out this time.
So he bought a commercial PT from a drugstore nearby and I carefully read and followed the instructions to make sure that I’m doing it correctly. I knew I did the same thing the first time I tried it but the only difference was I did it in the afternoon whereas what’s recommended is to do it in the morning. So this time, I did it first thing in the morning.
As soon as I woke up the next day, I went right ahead to the toilet, did the PT, waited for the result in 2 minutes, and guess what??? Two purple lines showed up.
Yes, it’s positive! I couldn’t believe how in the world it turned out positive when I only had my first PT last week and it was negative. But that first result was of no relevance now because this time, it’s POSITIVE.
I couldn’t help but cry. I didn’t expect it but it gave me so much joy and excitement. I spent few more minutes inside the toilet thinking about pregnancy, having a baby, being a mother, and all of that sort.
I was overjoyed. When it finally sank in to me, I got so excited to tell my husband about the good news but I didn’t know how. So I just handed him the PT strip without saying a word.
He asked me what the result was and I just told him to check it which he did by looking at the box with instructions, then he asked me if it was true that it’s positive. I nodded and he was very happy. I could see his ears clapping in surprise. 🙂
He broke the good news to the rest of the family and everybody was just so surprised.
