Adventure Trip to 5 Beautiful Places in Bulacan

My husband’s mom is from Bulacan and we go there when there are special occasions, but we never really got to tour around the place.

So, when Maddie, a fellow blogger, invited me for an adventure trip to Bulacan, I said yes right away. ūüôā

She said that there¬†will only be four of us including her and two other bloggers.¬†We met at Conti’s in Trinoma and I was very happy to meet Klyde and Me-An. I was also surprised to meet Ace Gapuz, aka. the #BlogaMomma and the CEO of Blogapalooza and our very accommodating host, Ness.

On our way to Bulacan, we exchanged a little bit about our personal background and our Itinerary for the day.

Funnside Ningnangan Grill Restaurant, Guiguinto, Bulacan

Our first stop was at Funnside Ningnangan in Guiguinto, Bulacan, where we had a super delicious lunch. We had butter garlic shrimps, sweet chili crab, grilled squid, baked mussels, and of course my favorite, sinigang na ulo ng ¬†salmon. ūüôā

I love seafood and I will definitely go back to this place next time with my family.

EASE Technology Solutions, Calumpit, Bulacan

Then we went to the new office of EASE Technology Solutions in Calumpit, Bulacan. They told us a little bit about their services and how they started the company. They also shared with us some tips about Search Engine Optimization or SEO, which is one of the services that they offer and which is relevant to me as a blogger.

We also met with two officers from DICT and we were surprised to know that EASE is the first homegrown BPO company in Bulacan.

I’ve been hearing a lot about the name Allan Donato in the freelancing and digital marketing arena, but I’ve never met him personally before. That’s why when Ness introduced him to us, I was really surprised.

I’ve read about him and his company before and I was really inspired by their success story but I never expected that I was actually going to meet him¬†that day and that Ness, this beautiful and very accommodating lady, who we’ve been conversing with during the trip, was actually his wife. ūüôā

Allan and Ness shared with us their humble beginnings. Allan started freelancing while he was working abroad. Then he came back to the Philippines and started his own company. They hired more employees and they all worked together in their home before.

With their hard work, dedication, and perseverance, they now have their own office with more than 30 employees. Not only are they providing online services to clients from all over the world, but also sustainable jobs for people in Bulacan.

While they were sharing their story with us, I felt their passion, sincerity, their all-out support for their employees, and their willingness to serve and share more. I liked how they have remained humble despite their success and achievements.

And with all sincerity, I’m really happy and honored to meet Allan and Ness. They’re truly inspiring.

Barasoain Church, Malolos, Bulacan

After ¬†visiting EASE’s office, we then went to Barasoain Church in Malolos, Bulacan. It was my second time going here and I’m still amazed by how beautiful this church is. It was closed when we went there so I just offered a short prayer and took some photos afterwards.

The Greenery, Baliuag, Bulacan

Our next stop was at the Greenery in Baliuag , Bulacan. My husband’s mom is from Baliuag and we’ve been there a few times, but I’ve never heard of this place before.

It’s a perfect venue for weddings, team buildings and other occasions.

Baldough Kitchen & Cafe, Plaridel, Bulacan

And finally, we had our dinner at Baldough. I love the food and the ambiance of the restaurant. I wish it’s just near our place so I and my husband can visit often. Seriously, the food was really good and affordable.

5 Places in Bulacan in one day?

I still can’t believe I¬†was able to visit to so many places in Bulacan in just one day: Guiguinto, Calumpit, Malolos, Baliuag, and Plaridel. It has been a great experience and I thank the #BlogaFam for inviting me and Ness of EASE Technology Solutions for sponsoring our wonderful #AdventureWithEase trip.

The next time I go to Bulacan with my family or friends, I’ll definitely take them to these places. And if you’re also planning to go to Bulacan, I highly recommend that you include these places in your Itinerary as well.

Woodchuck House, Masinag, Quezon City

It has been a long day, but our adventure wasn’t over yet. ¬†The ever witty and gorgeous,¬†Ace Gapuz, also invited us to have dinner at her restaurant. It’s called the Woodchuck House and it’s located in Masinag, Quezon City.

I was still full from what we have eaten at Baldough, but I couldn’t resist the Crispy Pork Sinigang and Pork Sisig with Mushroom Chicharon which are super yummy. I even brought home¬†sisig for my husband and he liked it too.

If you’re looking for a place to dine in Masinag, go check out Woodchuck House. It’s definitely worth your buck!
